Located within SLS Barcelona, the brand’s first hotel in Europe, at Port Forum, Halcyon Spa caters to a younger clientele seeking renewal, but not according to the usual spa conventions.

This is not a silent retreat cut off from the world: guests come here to get ready before a night out or recover after a lively evening. The atmosphere is calm, but also more vibrant and convivial, reflecting the energy of the SLS brand.

Wellness Consulting supported the SLS group in developing the spa concept, as well as its various cosmetic and technology partnerships and the guest journey.

Halcyon partners with SEPAI, a Barcelona-born pioneer in dermo-hacking and smart ageing, to offer tailored, results-driven treatments, a first in the city’s luxury hospitality sector.

The treatment menu combines signature rituals, radiance facials, deep-tissue massages and body protocols in an approach that is both immersive and performance-driven.

The spa features four treatment rooms, including a double suite with a private jacuzzi, a relaxation room and a thermal circuit centred around a circular marble platform beneath a subtly lit ceiling. A cenote-inspired pool, enhanced by a rain effect and digital scenery, completes the experience. Susanne Kaufmann bath oils extend the experience, both before and after the festivities.
